Nothing to post

For all of September, I’m trying to do 1 post a day. Some days I try to schedule something in advance if I know I can’t write during that day. Tomorrow (Tuesday) is one such day, so I’m being proactive today (Monday).

The problem is that I’ve run out of time to write something. The gym closes in 90 minutes and I plan to workout for 60 minutes; it takes about 15 minutes to get there. This gives me 15 minutes to write something. And obviously I can’t write after going to the gym, because it’s bad luck to write after 9:00. (That’s not true in an actual sense, but it does make sense in my head.)

Ok, I’ve got 8 minutes. Some dumb thoughts:

It’s considered cool to whale watch, but only depending on which body of water you’re at. It’s insulting if most of the creatures in the water are humans. Or if you’re not even at the water, it’s most insulting. Imagine you’re at a Walmart and someone comes up to you and asks why you’ve been sitting in a lawn chair for the last 30 minutes. You tell them you’re whale watching. They process the information and then slap you.

Sunsets are the most beautiful when there’s a lot of pollution in the air. What’s the moral of the story there?

Why do we park in driveways and drive in parkways? The person sitting next to me on the bus turns in my direction and asks how I can afford a driveway in Seattle. It’s just a hypothetical I tell him.
